Archie! Thank you so much for all your help with booking Dov for Jasmine’s party - he was WONDERFUL, AMAZING, MAGICAL, FUNNY, the list is endless- children and adults alike were entertained continually, he was without doubt the best entertainer I have ever seen at a kids party, he even got Jasmine involved which is no mean feat as she is so shy!! He made each and every child feel so special and part of the party, nothing was too much trouble for him - I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Just a note to say that Captain Calamity was fantastic.  He arrived early which for me is always a good sign and from that moment on was completely professional.  The best part however was how he kept everyone  (17months to 50 years old) entertained for the whole 2 hours with staff trying also to catch a bit of the show.

 

I am very happy and would not hesitant to recommend him to others and have again next year.

Thanks for providing another great entertainment!  You certainly make it a pleasure to work with your company, it is so reassuring to get the same efficient, high standard of service and of performers every single time.

 

Dov’s team were excellent; very smooth and professional during the performance and very friendly and helpful in the planning stage.  They incorporated a few bits of inside knowledge to great effect – ask Dov to tell you about Pigging!  One of the team actually lives about 10 minutes from me – it’s a small, small world! (We know a song about that don’t we?)

 

We may have to hold the event in London next year, which will severely deplete my entertainment budget; but you can be sure that you will be my first port of call if I have the funds... my only problem will be how to top the last two years – people were still talking about the Balloon Lunatics at this year’s party!

Balloon Jam! Is an enertaining interactive show, which appeals to children of all ages and even their parents! We at the Ashely centre were pleased to be the first venue to host this innovative act to be performed by Madhouse Entertainment. All the elements were spot on, fantastic set, props, tricks and performers. The happy laughs and shrieks of childen filled the shopping centre and were testiment to the show's success.

Just wanted to drop a quick email to let you know how the party went on Monday and give you some feedback on Dov.

 

To my surprise, despite the snow we had 30 very excited 5 year olds descend upon the venue and Dov’s first challenge was to keep them all entertained whilst the birthday boy was stuck in traffic for 30 minutes! I must say, he was FANTASTIC! He engaged them all with current ‘kidspeak’, magic and circus tricks and they were soon hanging on his every word. It was marvellous to see! A true expert in his field. (And I thought I was up-to-date with the latest Ben 10 episodes …….. J)

 

For the next 2 hours he brought the Kerwhizzator to life for Rian (who couldn’t quite believe that the Kerwhizzator was at his party!) and made sure every child was praised and congratulated whilst not failing to make a fuss of the birthday boy. He got several parents involved too (there is somewhere a photo of me wrapped in toilet paper!) and I have never known so many adults wanting to stay and experience the ‘magic’ he and his colleague were creating.

 

He enlisted Rian’s help to award each child with a medal at the end and everyone left with “Kerwhizz! The quiz with added whizz!” firmly embedded in their brains.

 

Dov checked in with me half way through to make sure I was happy, was more than open to leading the ‘Happy Birthday’ singing for us and generally went the extra mile to make sure that Rian and his friends were swept away into the worlds of Ninky and Pip, Twist and Snout and Kit and Kaboodle.

 

This is definitely the way to do birthday parties! I could actually enjoy the occasion with Rian and literally didn’t have to worry about a thing.

 

Lots of parents have complimented Dov and Martin to me and I have passed on your details.

 

Thank you very much for making Rian’s party the huge success that it was. Please pass on my thanks again to Dov.

Everyone had a great time. This evening Arch said it was his favourite party and the best bit was having a real spy - to be honest I didn't think he'd be taken in, but you seem to have pulled it off.

 

I think it would have been so different from other parties that the group would have had so thank you for facilitating so well. Thank you also for putting so much thought into it. I know that Stewart put a lot of work into it, but you really took the trouble to understand exactly what we wanted, and it was obvious that you had prepared really well.

 

The Archster is everything to us so we're so happy that it worked well, and that his mates had a good time. I told you they'd be a demanding group, but I hope you weren't too exhausted!

I can’t express how delighted we are (and have been) with Dov Citron and Madhouse Entertainment. We’ve used them continuously throughout 2007 and intend to use them again in 2008. When running the grotto, the staff operating it not only came costumed up (to a very high standard) as Santa and Elves, but they were all trained actors and entertainers who actively engaged the children with magic, balloon modelling and circus skills whilst they waited in the queue to see Santa. This sort of entertainment really does enhance the customer experience. So much so, that Ken Ford commented on the buzzy atmosphere on the Mall during his At Mall visit – something that the grotto and Madhouse certainly helped to create. I would not hesitate recommending them to other Malls, not only in running grottos but also throughout the year for numerous events.

As an entertainment company we have used MAD House for a variety of events - a corporate children's pantomime, an 'It's a Knockout' Fun day (as comedy referees), and recently for two children's community shows - Rhyme Time in Storyland and Captain Calamity's Pirate Show.  In all of the shows we have been impressed by their transformations into funny, colourful characters which interact so well with their audiences, whether they are 2 years old or for corporate team building. Costumes and sets are colourful, eye-catching and are perfect for photo opportunities at any event.
